My biggest problem is that this program is for the less educated or possibly lazy folks who aren’t willing to research and do some trial and error with their bodies.

Touching in the need for increased oxygen (full lung capacity) is really important and I won’t go into the full chemistry of that but I need to research the claims of the fat burning qualities of the claims of oxygen intake I’m the manner described. The info about adipose tissue being a second form of energy is true as well as is proper fats breaking up the fat cells. I know how the chemicals in the body work and there is a lot of validity to the claims of cortisol release, mixing up what you eat so your body won’t go into starvation and oxygen necessity in Katie supply. I have a masters degree in a science related field that includes a lot of chemistry, biology and anatomy. I am not going to buy the program for a lot of the reasons you state. I have watched his video and contemplated the “science”. Vshred is made for lazy people because with proper weight loss research, you can get the same results that I did. Cardio is recommended, but not the main focus. TLDR: Lost 5 pounds in one week with Vshred. Vshred really is for lazy people who don't want to google everything.

Overall, I wouldn't say it's a scam, but that it's something you can attain for free if you just do your research. This one is better and I am surprised by the foods I am allowed to eat. I have tried other programs where I have lost 7 pounds in one week, but the food was disgusting and mostly salads. I stuck to the custom meal plan and I have lost about 5 pounds in one week. The workout videos are actually pretty easy to me. So I ended up buying the program (workout videos) and the add-on of the carb-cycling custom meal plan. The thing that made me buy the plan was the idea he presented about endomorphic body types which I already knew I had due to doctors telling me and that carb cycling was this way to get over that hump of taking your body out of survival mode. It's basically a lot of bodyweight workouts and weights-based (optional). You find out that he doesn't knock out cardio altogether, but more recommends cardio on light days or recovery days instead of it being the full focus of overall weight loss. I was able to lose weight easily in my early 20s by doing lots of cardio and still eating junk food, so now in my 30's my body doesn't work the same. And before Vshred, I tried keto, I tried counting my macros and being in a calorie deficit and it did nothing for me. I purchased Vshred not too long ago after seeing that same youtube ad over and over.

*from what i hear, they're a huge company who throw around defamation lawsuits at anyone who says anything negative about them or their program, so I have to add this disclaimer " they ask no questions about health or medical history, which is concerning and potentially dangerous. It cane back with "endomorph" - do our hiit training and by our supplements, not "woah, you need to see a doctor ASAP," Or even just "your weight is too low for our program. I put in a reasonably tall height for a woman and 30kg as the weight, then said I wanted to lose another 10kg. I did their quiz to sew what it would say. They promote HIIT, which is a really good form of exercise which will generally bring health benefits for most people, but you can do HITT for free. The videos are a mixture of science and fuction with random made up buzz words. In my opinion (*) it's a pseudoscience based scam that promises results via expensive supplements. Now, I'll check out others experiences on reddit, but ultimately it's my own experience. Weight lifting can also effect people differently and help or hinder their weight loss.

Cardio of any kind actually blunts my appetite, whereas other people it makes them more hungry and that can make weight loss harder. Which means I try all the strategies and see what works for me. Who's to say any influencer actually did the program they are suggesting? Or even eating the way they say they are? I am enjoying noom and treating it like an experiment for ME. You just have to find what you enjoy and can stick to long term and ignore all the other advertising. Some people enjoy more intense workouts or just light cardio. Don't make it complicated, some people do better higher carb vs fat but in the end it's a calorie deficit. I used to fall prey to my favorite influencer workout/program etc because I thought I could get the same results. I think the problem with youtube/instagram/tiktok or any other fitness platform is that their number one concern is marketing to make money.
